Oprah & Barack Obama
For the first time in oprahs life she is totally supporting a presidential candidate.Opera believes Barack Obama will be the next president of the united states.Shes going all out on this one.I will be voting for the first time since 1984 & i WONT vote for Barack Obama.Opera thinks shes the queen of america & she annoys me & i can only imagine her attitude if Obama won.Im leaning more towards hillary clinton & i dont care for the republicans at all.Im quite sure if a republican is voted into office the iraq war will most likely continue.Of course so far the democrats have done squat. The insurgents have the upper hand mainly cause the us in their country & they know exactly where to hide their coward asses.Anyways...whats your opinion on Oprah supporting Obama ?

james203 I don't get your post. You won't vote for Obama because you don't like Oprah? It makes sense to me that she would endorse him since he was first her State Senator in Illinois, then he became her US Senator and now he's running for the presidency. They're both from Chicago and have known each other for years.
Can she buy him the Presidency? LOL she's rich but not that rich!

i think this is good for both parts. this shows oprah really cares about the future of our country and this shows obama has some credibility in the african-american community. also he is endorsed by another chicago AA, rapper Common, Common will help him just as much.

I think its funny that people whine about the republicans and their rich friends, as if the Dems don't have their own elite class of super rich friends also.
I think Oprah's support will buy Obama about 1 million soccer mom votes at the very most, and I doubt that will be enough to outdo the every day shilling the media does for Hillary, so no, I don't think it will matter in the end.

I like Obama but I like Hillary better because she has more experience and I think we are going to need someone experienced to clean up the mess we have now. Hillary has over 50 years of experience in cleaning up messes.

If Hillary goes in, don't expect the NAU to be slowed down, and don't expect our current mess with China to change at all.
I'm also not sure she knows what she will do about Iraq. Like most candidates so far, only general ideas have been given about their stand on Iraq with VERY LITTLE in the way of details as to how they are gonna make their ideas actually work.

I highly doubt that, LOL. This reminds me of a Chris Rock joke. They'll "say" they will vote for him because its the cool thing to say but its a different story when they get to the voting booth.
And there is nothing wrong with Oprah supporting Obama.

Oprah supporting Obama means nothing to me. Like james203, Oprah annoys me, and Obama is not the president we need right now. Hillary Clinton gets my vote. She's one of the MOST intelligent people in America; she's credible, competent, has authority, common sense, and if we elect her, we get Bill back in the White House, too. I firmly believe Hillary will restore the U.S.'s reputation around the world, and Bill's advice can't hurt. I remember how much better off my family was during the Clinton administration. It's been years of Hell since then. GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Oh, and to all who say she's cold, calculating, not a good public speaker, etc., etc., etc.---Why are you so afraid of an intelligent, self-assured woman? These questions would not be raised about a man.)
