Considering how anti-incumbant this country is right now (for MA this is gennerally anti-democrat) it seems like now more than ever MA could swing red, and more likely because there is a Massachusetts Resident running
and considering this

was the 106th MA House of Reps (red+Republican, Blue+ Democrats Purple is split)
and this

was the 107th. (same key)

For the national elections, all Democrats were re-elected to their position in 2010, as was Governor Patrick.

The only way MA swings R this election cycle will be very poor economic conditions, high energy prices, and/or some major negative news or missteps by Obama.

Gov. Patrick only got 48% of the vote while Baker got 42% and some guy wouldnt step aside after losing the (R) primary and got 10% of the vote.

The Independent in the race was Tim Cahill, he did not run in the GOP Primary and was a Democrat- turned Independent.....

He was, but his running mate and staffers apparently were GOP.

I think that it is very unlikely, but not impossible.

Obama beat McCain by 7%, but 26% within Massachusetts. That is a lot of ground to make up.

His running mate did not run in the GOP Primary and also dropped out prior to Election Day and endorsed Baker...
