No....if they knew that student ID's are not proof of being registered to vote or a resident in an area -- they wouldn't scream conspiracy. If they knew that sometimes websites test reporting results in advance and sometimes it gets temporarily posted...they wouldn't think Newt will get 28% of Illinois's vote in a conspiracy tonight. If they knew what bound delegate meant -- they wouldn't be screaming that CNN is lying when it says that X amount of delegates must vote for Romney on the first ballot.

There was little doubt Romney would do well in Cook County. Downstate is more Santorum country, though he will have an uphill battle overcoming the Chicago area vote. Chicago is what keeps Illinois blue. Which is why, for years, downstate Illinois residents have wanted Chicago to be a separate state.
