The media shoved Obama down everyone's throats in 2008 without even finding out who he was.

Romney is the media's choice this time... ...

That is Obama lite 2.0

There is a BIG surprise waiting in the wings, so to speak, that won't be revealed until the convention.

I hope Ron Paul somehow brokers the convention, that would be awesome!

it's not the death knell for the GOP, but rather a wake-up call to what santorum actually means to "the party".

a lobbyist comes out of obscurity and runs for the nomination, and the media trumpets his "rise".

who else does that remind you of?

oh yeah, gingrich.

and it goes right along with gingrich's quote that obama would be a better president than ron paul, and no true conservative would ever say what gingrich or santorum said.

wake up, america.

Trouble is, the Santorum 2012 ship has sailed. He would need to win every future contest by a huge margin, and he's said too many stupid things for that to happen. So has Mitt, but the difference is that Santorum means every word he says and that's just scary -- even for most Republicans I think.

Santorum is well on his way to breaking the trend of the second place finisher being the next nominee. The GOP will not take kindly to such sentiments and I think they'll do everything they can make sure he doesn't get to go next. "Romney would be worse than Obama" = complete betrayal of the GOP. He's effectively endorsing the standing Democrat president.

I get why Frothy is acting so silly. He's having a bit of a tantrum here you see. Romney took his toy away and now he's trying get revenge anyway he can. The more I see of Frothy, the more amazed I am at what a pathetic human being he is. He's not to Newt's level yet, but he's getting there fast.

At this point...

...the odds of the nominee not being Mitt Romney is maybe 1%.
