Exit Poll

Santorum 47%
Romney 28%
Gingrich 16%
Paul 8%

If true, that is a crushing victory.....but then back to reality IMO.

It looks like now its going to be whether or not Romney gets the 25% to get any delegates or gets shut out.

This is real bad. This is worse than I expected based on polling. I'm afraid that Santorum could get momentum from this. I'm also afraid that he could become more cocky and that his anti-Romney talk could escalate.

If it's right Santorum nets 4 or 5 more delegates than Romney and something like 5 delegates would be uncommitted.

CNN - Santorum just secured 8 of 20 delegates...could get more, Romney will win 2nd place and he could get some of the delegates. Improbable for anyone else to get to 1144, but Romney.

This is a Southern state doing exactly what Southern states have done this entire primary season. Many Southerners would vote for the devil himself rather than vote for a Mormon or a moderate. Bad luck for Romney that he is both. It takes a ton of money and advertising to change those stars and Romney didn't spend very much money in Louisiana.

Amazing that Santorum could say so many stupid things over the last month and still win an election even where people had a gun to their head and being told "vote for Frothy or die."

I can't wait for that 2nd vote at the GOP Convention!

It is going to be historical.
