"Newt Gingrich is not going away, despite his losing streak and despite his inability to keep pace with his rivals when it comes to raising money. So now hes charging supporters $50 a pop if they want a grip-and-grin picture with their favorite candidate."

Newt Gingrich charging $50 for photos another sign of losing streak | NJ.com

If there are idiots willing to pay for this, why should we bother? Free markets at work. Do the socialists want to regulate this too?

I respect Newt as an entrepreneur. I voted for Ron Paul, I'm a libertarian. But Newt gets paid and laid, he pimps with Tiffany accounts, book deals, speaking fees, etc. I gotta show props

He owes a million bucks in campaign debt and it doesn't seem anyone wants to step up and retire it for him, so he needs the cash...lol. Callista's baubles will be next.

He's started the dismantling of his campaign organization, such as it was. He'll make a speech at the convention, have an additional 15-minutes of fame, and fade away less respected than he was before he entered the campaign this time. He's done himself no favors.
