Voting for a beer summit? Not very original. It backfired on Obama.

I think both are nothing but congac drinkers, but I would drink a beer with RP. he strikes me more as a beer or wine drinker.

I would not want to drink a beer with anyone. I don't drink alcohol because it obstructs a reasonable mind. You need to have a clear
head to debate or just have a meaningful conversation. If I were
going to talk to any of the above mentioned, it would be President
Obama. He has more character in his little finger than the rest have in their whole body.

I don't want a drinking buddy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -- I want a President.

I don't care that Mitt Romney doesn't drink beer.
I don't care if President Obama loves my favorite beer.

I don't care whether or not the President (not Obama specifically -- any President) would make a great 'pal'. I don't care whether or not the President is 'just like me'.

And it's a blight on our system that some (way too many) people, regardless of ideology, vote all or in part based on such things.

Rick Santorum - our savior!

I'd have a beer with Rick anyday.

I doubt I'd want to share a beer with any mainstream candidate. Enjoying beers is something I do primarily with friends and to a lesser degree with folks with whom I share a common interest.

I'd enjoy a conversation with Ron Paul, though despite my respect for his adherence to principle he doesn't come across as a potential drinking buddy.

As far as sharing a beer with either Romney or Obama I'd sooner drive toothpicks into my eyeballs. I have absolutely no respect for either of them. As an aside I wouldn't willingly share a drink with any of their supporters. Life is too short to drink with those that put their party ahead of the good of the nation.

I sort of disagree, don't ever trust a man who drinks, you never know when he is telling the truth from telling tall tales.
A man who drinks has something to hide behind! a man who doesn't is out there for the world to see. And vulenerable.

I really doubt Ron Paul drinks and even though I like him, I think it would be weird...I have too much respect.

But Newt? Heck yah! I don't want him running the country but I bet it would be fun as hell to have a drink with Newt.
Well i know so many do not like Newt. However, just have a intuitive feeling, that having a drink or two with him, would be a hoot.
Ron Paul, think you would get a mouthfull. For Rick being Italian, and sharing stories of our ancestors coming to this Country the legal way, would be cool to hear. it would have to be a nice glass of wine, forget this beer crap.
