Nita

Nita, we're not talking about the open mic moment, we're talking about the GOP Gender Gap, and the problem women voters now have with the policies the GOP are pushing. They've seen their poll numbers drop among women, and if they don't think that's significant, wait till November.

That's very wishful thinking but I guess that is all you can do is "hope" after the damage is already done by the GOP.

I heard today that there is an 18 point difference. Seriously, not many women will vote for a party that supports laws like: an employer being able to terminate employment if the woman is taking birth control; sticking probes up the vagina before each abortion; denying insurance coverage for birth control; voting against the Violence Against Women Act (yeah, Senator GrASSly can't figure out why a non-Native American should be held accountable in tribal court when he lives on tribal land..read the F'N law GrASSly); redefine rape and drop the term victim for 'accuser'; in SD a law up to make it LEGAL to murder a doctor that performs abortions; in KS a bill up to allow doctors to LIE to pregnant patient in the event something wrong with fetus; allow hospitals to allow a woman to die rather than perform an abortion that would save her life; charge a woman with MURDER after a miscarriage unless she can PROVE it was actually a miscarriage.

Republicans have lost all their marbles, but they didn't have many to start with. Wait until November. You will see the biggest election slaughter of the republicans that you've ever seen. Even republcian women want birth control and insurance coverage. Just ask the ***** married to the ick santorum. She lived with an abortion doctor for six years and never got knocked up. Or......maybe she did and just got herself and abortion.

republicans are toast.

But you leftists would love for it to be the opposite of what it is, wouldn't you? Refer to the failed campain against advertisers by so-called "angry listeners" and "consumers." They weren't listeners, and probably none of them ever bought the products of those advertisers. And Rush's ratings go up.
And how many advertisers have dropped that fat, bald, icky slob?

Nearly all of them.

The misogyny (even just on politics board here) is egregious.

.

The GOP needs to go back to the 1940's. That is clearly the only era they are comfortable with. Suppression and oppression.

The GOP is against medical care and abortion yet wants women cranking out kids. The only way they can control us apparently.

Default Obama Solidifying Lead Among Independents in Swing States

Obama Solidifying Lead Among Independents in Swing States

Independents are recognizing that the base of today's Republican Party are extremists. Democrats do a much better job of representing average Americans.
