This is one of the reasons I like living in a moderate state. It's unlikely that either Republicans or Democrats will gain full control.

Then why do you live in bright blue Chicagoland, the home of Obama if it's such a horrible place?

In principle I agree with your point that one party rule is unhealthy. We see it here in Maryland because the Democrat Party is so corrupt. Hopefully the Tennessee GOP doesn't turn out to be like the Maryland Democrat Party.

Just like it is called the Jewish Religion, NOT "the Jew Religion." Members of the Jewish Religion are called Jews.

But you knew that already, but accidentally typed in error, right?

Or are you illiterate?

When your Democrat party stops waging war on taxpayers of all races and genders to buy votes with government largess, I might consider them. Until then, not a chance.
Oh, dear.

It is what I feared.

Riverside has some of the higheset unemployment i read last week.
Guess you missed this story in the OC register last Dec:

California leads in 2010-11 job growth - Handling Hard Times : The Orange County Register

It is true the IE has been hard-hit by the Bush Depression, but things are slowly improving here during the Obama Recovery, as throughout the state.

BTW, the IE has always been a REPUBLICAN stronghold, one of the few left in California. But that is changing, as the CA GOP sinks into oblivion.

Your buddy Romney would be leading right now, if he wasn't getting HAMMERED in the polls by women with college degrees.

Here is a list of the 50 states, ranked by percentage of folks BA's or higher. In and of itself, it doesn't prove anything, but for what it's worth, you can see the "blue" states are nearly all in the top half:

All the stagnant areas of the Deep South are pretty much one party Republican. Places like Tennessee, Missisippi and Alabama are suffering severe brain drain, it leaves the stupidest least educated voters and if they're white, they vote GOP.

The GOP war on women doesnt exist according to them. Its hard to keep track of more than one war at a time for the simple-minded.
