As of late, Willard has been pushing pro-life stances and attacking planned parenthood, but not only did he attend an event, his wife donated to the organization.

"ABC News’ Rick Klein Reports: Mitt Romney attended a fund-raising reception for Planned Parenthood in 1994 in conjunction with a $150 donation his wife made to the organization — notwithstanding Romney’s contention that he had “no recollection” of the circumstances under which his wife gave money to the abortion-rights group."

This just proves what I've said all along. People who think this country leans right are incorrect as demonstrated by Romney's inevitable nomination.

This nothing new, we all know Romney used to be pro-choice. Even his most ardent supporters on here, such as myself, have admitted that. As I've pointed out many times, Romney ran for office being pro-choice, but personally opposed to abortion. His change of opinion coincided with a major change in his life - his first experience as a public sector executive. It was his first time dealing first-hand with abortion policy. And because of his experiences, he changed his views and was a pro-life governor. I would hope nobody on here is so self-righteous that they can't accept that Mitt Romney has ever changed his views on abortion. And this is the only issue he has "flip-flopped on." Everything else he is accused of has often been only a change in rhetoric or a change in position of a few degrees to the right or left.

Frankly abortion is tough. I am against it personally, but I just don't see myself making that decision for a woman. I can accept that Romney night have moved a bit on that. It is a complex, highly personal topic.
