Former executives from Bain Capital, a company founded by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, have been accused of firing six out of seven members of a management team for not belonging to the Mormon church.
David McCurdy and four other co-plaintiffs are suing Sorenson Capital Partners (SCP), Care Holding Co., Care Senior Living, and SCP Care Acquisition because they say the private equity firm fired them from their jobs at Care Senior Living because they were not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), according to Courthouse News Service.
Where I live (Arizona) this kind of stuff happens all of the time. The Mormons will routinely reward fellow Mormons while actively discriminating against any non-Mormons. It happens in the schools, the workplace and anywhere that a majority of Mormons exist. In some of the smaller Mormon dominated communities, non-Mormons essentially are treated in a similar manner to non-Jewish Arab Israelis. Almost but not quite equal.

Mitt Romney had nothing to do with Bain Capital when this occured and the article says the are suing for age discrimination so which is it? Sounds like a Democratic ploy to me and a weak one at that.

It doesn't matter that Romney was no longer with Bain and the facts don't matter, not when an election is at stake. The DNC blogs will be the judge, jury, and executioner -- and Romney is guilty!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody can claim anything and anybody can file a law suit.
How about we wait to see if they can PROVE it before jumping to conclusions?
You're absolutely right. The lengths people won't go to when they're fired and are angry at the employer who fired them. It's going to be really interesting to see someone try to prove this one. Romney has worked with non-Mormons all his life. To suggest that he would go around firing competent people because of their religion is absolutely ludicrous.

Massachusetts is .25% LDS... something tells me Romney works pretty well with non-Mormons.
