These 8 seats, seem to the most likely to swing one way or the other, which ones do you think will go what way
(as of now)
my Guess
MA- Republican, Brown
ME- Independant, King
VA- Democrat, Kaine
WI- Primaries a toss up so going with my gut, Republican
FL- Democrat, Nelson
MO- Republcan, Steelman
MT- Republican, Rehburgh
NV- Democrat, Berkely
that would leave to total (if RCP is correct) at 49 (D), 49 (R), 2 (I)
fo course in close races (even seemingly blowouts) predictions are often wrong.

You forgot NE and ND, sure republican takeovers.

I'm thinking OH is going Red too.

MA stays GOP.

GOP captures VA, WI, FL, MO, MT.

GOP takes 8 seats from the dems, holds MA and NV.

I don't think Maine is a tossup -- Angus King seems to be a pretty solid favorite.

I think that's Ideal for the GOP more than Realistic, they may pick up another seat somewhere, but 8 is severe.
Also I forgot Connecticut is wide open, Lieberman stepped down.

North Dakota - WRONG!!!
Massachusetts - WRONG!!!
Ohio - WRONG!!!
Virginia - WRONG!!!
Wisconsin - WRONG!!!
Florida - WRONG!!!
Missouri - WRONG!!!
Montana - WRONG!!!

And you failed to account for the losses in Indiana and Maine (to King, who will caucus with the Democrats).

On the bright side, you actually managed to get NE and NV correct. 2 right versus 8 WRONG!!! and two about which you were completely oblivious ('cause, ya know, who would have ever guessed that Tea Party idiots would throw away perfectly winnable Senate seats... ).
