Oh please, most of the programs mentioned in the "Julia" ad benefit boys and men also.....so I guess they can't be considered strong and independent either.

As the men of America slink away and run from their responsibilities and dump them on Uncle Sam.

If men would support and educate their children the way they are supposed to.....many of these programs wouldn't be needed, would they?

This campaign isn't ALL about Julia.

Julia will be told by her benefactors that she is strong and independent. Julia will eat it up and continue to vote for the ones who flatter her.

I can't speak for your school district but my middle-class public school system, which only spends the average per pupil in the region, had three high school seniors accepted to Harvard last year. We also had acceptances from Yale, Dartmouth and other prestigious schools. Considering Harvard admits 2,110 out of more than 30,000 applicants world-wide, that is a fine accomplishment and tribute to the education provided.

Point is, don't be so quick to criticize public education.
