It all comes down to the far right and their inability to have rational conversations, rather throw around "catch" words, like they are some kind of slur equivalent to such as calling a black person a ni**er, a right winger calls anyone they don't agree with a "socialist' or "marxist"
And there you have it!

The GOP used to be a great party, unfortunately the side effect of Nixon's Southern strategy pulled in a lot of bible-thumping crazies into the fold...at least those who hadn't already defected from the Dems in 1960 when a Roman Catholic *gasp!* won the primary. I have my criticisms of Nixon and Reagan, but they make a lot of sense and are shockingly compassionate in comparison to the modern GOP.

Rick Santorum makes Reagan look like a filthy hippy frolicking through a hemp field.

We've had FAR more socialistic presidents than Obama is. Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ and even Nixon. These guys established things like the IRS, the Federal Reserve, Social Security, Medicare, OSHA, the EPA, and much more. FDR had the New Deal and even proposed a Second Bill of Rights that guaranteed all Americans the right to a job, a home, healthcare, etc. LBJ even proposed the Great Society. All these utopian ideas.

But where is Obama's huge government program or utopian idea? And how or why is he more of a socialist than the former presidents I listed above?
Duuuhhhh Obamacare? Rip Van Winkle.

They're just parroting their hero from 2008: Sarah Palin.

(And they sound just as ignorant.)

I don't think he's a socialist, but he sure would love it. I do however think he's an idiot who has furthered our problems and has done nothing more than point fingers.

Definition of Fascism.......

n.
1. often Fascism
a. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
b. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
2. Oppressive, dictatorial control.
Why should Obama hope of being of fascist? The American political system is not set up to establish a fascist dictator.

Hey, not all of us are brilliant enough to think up a simple, clever gadget like an eggie and get rich selling them on TV.

But Fox News is really in the opinion making business with talk heads offering their opinions as to how you should think on the issues, especially as it relates to President Obama. The news when there is some comes on the side.

As a side note, since their main two talk heads, O'Reilly and Hannity are Catholics, Catholics get to find out from them how they should feel on Catholic issues.
