If Paul wins Texas, California and New York, he's the new front runner. Given his libertarian position on drug legalization and same sex-marriage, Cal and NY are not that unlikely, and he is, of course, a Texan.

they are unlikely, especially in Ca. You are right if Ca allowed cross voting but I don't think they do. There is a large number of Mormons in Ca, check the latest polls. As for NY, I don't see him winning that either, but I really don't know.
