Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams, are good company to be a group of, wouldn't you say?

As you yourself an American, who stands for freedom and an individual's rights under the Bill of Rights, how can you disagree with freedom.

Very weird in today's world, but exactly the foundation on which this country was built. Ron Paul embodies the spirit of our Founding Fathers.

It's like this - The states had not agreed to a system in which they would submit without protest to whatever the federal government should do. To the contrary, the states established a federal government with limited powers, and reserved for themselves all powers they did not delegate to that government. When the federal government tries to establish tyranny, the states have the right to nullify bad federal laws, and if the federal government still bully them, the states have the right to secede to protect their liberties.

It's like getting out of a bad marriage.

They sent a declaration of secession from Britain.

Secede means to break away from an organization or a federation. E.g.: The American colonies seceded from Great Britain in 1776 and formed the USA.
