Various links and information here. Including what looks like a petition.
Hundreds of thousands of Ron Paul supporters voted for Romney today
quote:
Like the ones prior in these May 8th primaries countless thousands of our votes were stolen and handed over to Romney. That’s right, Romney gets the CREDIT for our votes, falsely gloating in it. If that doesn’t make your blood boil, what will?
This has been happening since Iowa. The same happened in tonight’s primaries. Yet, incredibly, it also happened years ago in West Virginia, Indiana, and North Carolina, in that case for John McCain.
From the link.

WV Vote Flipping Caught on Tape - YouTube

From article:
We talk about "unbinding" delegates. How about unbinding our votes from Romney and even Santorum and putting them where they belong, back to Ron Paul?
It’s easy to do. Just go to RonPaulVoteCount.org and get your affidavit. When done, either upload it or mail it, or even fax it. They are being uploaded and mailed in from all over the country. Join us to prove, once and for all, our real vote count.

Separate article about this.
(USA) 1/12 - THE TRAGIC TALE OF EDWARD TRUE AND JAMES FALSE
quote:
But if we're looking for truth, here's what we will find: The mistakes saw light of day because the Iowa caucus was conducted in open public meeting allowing citizens to watch ballots as they were hand counted.

At least it WAS an open system, until the Republican State Committee pitched the bizarre idea that some precincts might never be reported in the final certified result, and the media failed to bay like bloodhounds tracking the truth.

(USA) 2/12 - "DIRTIEST POLITICIAN" HIRED FOR NEVADA CAUCUS? - ...
quote:
You may be hearing lately that the problem with Iowa caucuses (reported the wrong result, "lost" results) and Nevada (more votes than voters, took stupidly long to count a one-race ballot) were due to "amateurs." But have you heard that Nevada and Iowa hired professionals to run the the caucus?

"Two former Executive Directors of the Republican Party of Iowa, Gentry Collins and Jim Anderson, were hired by the Nevada GOP to oversee its 2012 caucus operations. The Nevada GOP contracted CAP Public Affairs, a firm led by Collins, Anderson, and Alan Philp, because Collins and Anderson had overseen the caucus process in Iowa," writes The Iowa Republican:

Nevada

"The state Republican party is going pro. Chair Amy Tarkanian has tapped ... Alan Philp and Gentry Collins (ex-RNC guys) on board. Plus Cory Drumright..." Writes the Nevada News Bureau.

What? This is from the election 4 years ago! The idea that this caused a vote for Romney to jump to Paul is beyond speculative, it's an absolute conspiracy. They totally just made that up completely.

Also, how do you not notice your machine doing that? I always check my vote and review my ballot before casting it. If I had a problem like that, I would have it fixed, then cast my vote once the machine was re-calibrated.

But yes, I do agree that the two missing IA precincts were probabl so huge and so overwhelmingly in favor of Paul that he totally would have won if the GOP hadn't "lost them." I know one was in a strong Santorum area and the other in a strong Romney area, but trust me, all the Paul supporters live in those two precincts, and they're the biggest precincts in the whole state.

Part of it is from 4 yrs ago. The problems go back further than that. They are still not resolved. So why would you think it irrelevant? I suggest you read the link in context before passing judgment. (You want tons of docs on machine issues etc... then check out the GS US election investment thread.)

In the case of DREs you would notice. Hopefully, it would get corrected. However, the guy just calibrated it and it still did it. Many, many places complained of this. This is why some places have been trying to replace DREs.

They have also showed that you can't even tell if the machine was tampered with, meaning all might look well, but it just counted wrong and the audit trail doesn't show it.

It's hard to say whose supporters are more obnoxious and clueless - Obama's or Paul's.
