Romney said that domestic partnership status should be recognized in a way that includes the potential for health benefits and rights of survivorship

Obama moves his rook and corners Romney's king and the OP tries to spin it in his favor.

So. Typically. Republican.

Romney Refuses To Flip-Flop

Well, THIS should make history as a first, at least.

Come on, Finn. Don't ruin this for them. Let them have their victory in their choice of a presidential candidate.

How have I lowered my bar for candidates? If anything, Romney gone up a few notches in my book because unlike Obama and so many other politicians who pander for votes, he doesn't change (or hide) his beliefs on a whim.

You may not like the source, but what he said is quoted and factual.
L.O.L. Of course that site ignores the fact that Lively was protested by many Tea Partiers during that rally when pretty much anybody who wanted to say something went to the podium to talk about whatever they wanted.

Joe. My. God.: BOSTON: Scott Lively Shouted Down
A crowd of approximately 75 tea party activists gathered round the bandstand on the Common to hear speakers representing groups like “Show ID to Vote,” “Newsbusters” and the Mass. Republican Assembly. From the outset about 20 protestors stood along the edge of the surrounding sidewalk quietly holding signs condemning Scott Lively and Brian Camenker for their homophobic advocacy.

Nice try. Try coming up with a legit link that proves the Tea Party is essentially an anti-gay movement. Sorry! Individual lunatics and assorted moles who infiltrate groups with the sole purpose of delegitimizing the entire movement don't count.

Romney flip-flops. That's common knowledge.

I would still take that over a complete liar.

Romney has flip-flopped on gay issues more than a freakin dolphin at Sea World.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Ro...ns#LGBT_rights

And now Romney says he's against civil unions. That's just mean-spirited - and it makes him look nuts.

Thanks.
Well, here's a Tea Party leader saying that anti-gay bullying is "healthy peer pressure."

Here's some video of a Massachusetts Tea Party Patriots Rally where anti-gay Christianist evangelist Scott Lively and MassResistance's Brian Camenker (both leaders of hate groups designated by the SPLC) take the podium to trash gays:

And let's not forget the Tennessee Tea Party's response to Barney Franks announcement that he was retiring from congress:

That is the part that I don't understand. To appease the bigoted, evangelical wing of the GOP, Mittens is willing to play the George Wallace role in a 21st Century civil rights battle. I can't imagine wanting to be President so bad that you are willing to be forever known as an anti-gay bigot.
