Read the story. They say it was INCORRECT!

Give it up guys. It is backfiring on you. Time to wave the white flag!

Of course, the family is going to come out and say that. Most families are unaware of the shenanigans that go on in a teen's high school/college years. In this situation, the bullied teen was also ashamed. That alone would make it very unlikely that he would share this with his family.
Who dug up the story anyway? Was it the press, CIA? The story is fair game in presidential politics.

Mitt Romney’s prep school classmates recall pranks, but also troubling incidents - The Washington Post

... What a surprise! Scratch these privileged little buttoned-down mama's boys, and you'll ALWAYS a bully lurking underneath.

These could be seen as wayward incidents from a youth spent seeking a path in life. Except psychologists tell us our basic nature is set by age five ( Any of us who have raised kids can attest to the truth of that).

These stories will resonate, because they illustrate a central truth about Romney's nature that only get exposed accidentally in bits and pieces when he lets his guard down- that he's got a bossy, sadistic, passive-aggressive streak a mile wide, and he takes it out on people who can't defend themselves, who he thinks are "below his station" in life.

No wonder Romney doesn't "relate" to normal people. He isn't one.
I'm sure these stories are all true, as you know liberals and the truth have a great relationship, not.

YOU read the story. They never say the story is factually incorrect, they say the portrayal of their brother is factually incorrect.

“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda,” [the sister] said.

Where do they claim the report of incident itself is incorrect?

Let's see the paper this morning, people on perpetual unemployment benefits are soon going to lose them (presumably AFTER the presidential election), states want a waiver on No Child Left Behind because they want to leave them behind, global economy about to collapse (presumably after the election), JPMorgan going bankrupt (guess they now expect a bailout on their failures) and THIS is the topic of the day. This is pathetic. Democracy surviving is based on the assumption that there is a knowledgeable public willing to engage on important topics. Guess we fail in this case.

Sorry lefties.

this didnt work. it if epic fail on a grand scale.

the story itself has factual errors, it addresses Mitt in HIGHSCHOOL.

and all this has done is make people more clearly understand that the left has nothing real to talk about because the last 3 years of leftist policy has left America on lifesupport.

Its the economy people and Barak Obama owns this pathetic economy!

It's about character. Romney's is being fleshed out on the national stage right now, as it should be, since he's the presumptive candidate. And for Romney, the process has only begun.

It's no surprise that many of the posters who are saying Mittens' bullying of a gay kid is "no big deal" are the same ones who get all bent out of shape about any kind of equal rights and treatment for gays.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that more than a couple of these posters maybe participated in a few "pranks" against kids who were "different" as well.

I care about character. It speaks to how a person will govern in office and how they will make decisions at critical moments.

And such sweeping generalizations only serve to make you look unintelligent.
