Let's just say Obama's job performance sucks now, simply because he was/is
ill prepared for the job - how's that

He tried cocaine, he admits in Dreams From My Father; he “tried drugs enthusiastically.” The Chicago Tribune reported back in 2007 that Obama thanked the “Choom Gang” in his high school yearbook; “chooming” was Hawaiian slang for smoking pot. The Honolulu Advertiser reported that Obama’s senior portrait “prominently displayed … A package of ‘Zig-Zag’ rolling papers and a matchbook.”

"In his memoir, Obama talked about routinely getting high."

"During his high school years, Obama hung out with communist radical Frank Marshall Davis; in 2007, the Los Angeles Times reported that during his high school days, “he felt the first stirrings of anger toward whites. He says he also delved into black nationalism.” He was “offended or even enraged when white classmates adopted black street slang or revealed their underlying consciousness of his race by going out of their way to tell him how much they admired a black musician or athlete.”

Flashback: Obama

Obviously, a President's history of repeated illegal activity and racist anger as well as close ties to radicals, socialists and even communists presents cause for concern. Yet, these things were glossed over during Obama's first run. But, now that we have seen him in action over the past four years, I think many people will be taking a long, hard, serious look at where this guy came from and from where came his dangerous ideology upon which he is steering this country.
I would worry about someone who was in High School in the 70's and did NOT smoke pot. You are describing a normal person. What else do you have?

Look. This is the same thing as the Romney thread, but with the two sides reversed, each side genuinely thinking their adversary was a worse guy in high school. That's the scary part - there are people who not only genuinely think either of these stories are even a big deal at all, but that there are people who genuinely think it's a big deal that one candidate made mistakes in high school without caring what the other did. Everyone is too blind to realize both of these stories are stupid. Let's get this over with here:

Newsflash: Like 95% of Americans, Obama and Romney did bad things in high school. They're sorry.

Now let's move on to te people they are today and the real issues. If you think Romney's a bad guy today because he's a "vulture" capitalist? Fine. If you think Obama's a bad guy today because of Reverend Wright? Also fine. But the fact that some of you genuinely don't see how unbelievably ridiculous it is that we are literally sitting here looking at how two candidates for president of the United States behaved in high school, is beyond frightening. Obama and Romney's inappropriate behavior as teenagers isn't what's wrong with America, what's wrong with America are people who care about what they did in high school. What's really wrong with America are people who have a problem with Romney being a bad boy as a kid but not Obama, and vice versa.
Everyone here knows I strongly support Governor Romney for president, but I will stick up for sanity whenever its needed, and that's why I'm standing up for both candidates right now. I have no doubt this ridiculous discussion will continue, but I hope you all at least realize how truly partisan you are, and how much perpetual spin exists in your brain. Really think about it.

When others were criticizing Bush for alcoholic excesses when he was young, I did not jump on the band wagon, because I did not think it was relevant. Romney's actions in high school bely a sadistic person. This is not the kind of person we need as President. I can handle young indiscretions when a person is growing up. We all make mistakes, but Romney's actions seem to indicate some psychological issues. If a person is 40 and you find out that he tortured animals when he was 7 would you so quick to say that was an innocent thing because he was young. Most profilers would not, as that is behavior that is consistent with a sociopath.

I like the way you think!

Romney bullies a student, Obama sexually harasses a girl and becomes a big time pothead/cokehead. Both apologized. Ergo, Romney's still bad and Obama was just a poor confused lad. Superb logic if I do say so myself, bravo, Ponderosa, you've really outdone yourself.

Consider the source, it's fairly typical of them and their extremely biased comments.

My point has been proven. Thank you for playing.
But I guess you must think Obama's innocent harassment of a female even though he was only 10 belies the fact that Obama is a sociopathic rapist-in-waitng, right? (For all readers, I of course do not think this, but the logical conclusion I've reached is that hotair probably does. Unless, of course, they are viewing this issue through the lens of extreme partisanship. I guess we'll have to wait for him or her to tell us which it is).
