This one is all but over, except for 4 more years of Republican crying.

In other words, Obama versus McCain actually felt like a clash of ideological opposites. But Obama and Romney feels like a contest between two calculating centrists, fighting for the right to serve as figurehead atop a bloated state apparatus that will operate according to the same demented imperial logic irrespective of who wins the White House. George Bush's reign highlighted the enormous power of the individual president to drive policy, which made the elections involving him compelling contests; Obama's first term has highlighted the timeless power of the intractable bureaucracy underneath the president, which is kind of a bummer, when you think about it.

Then there's one more thing – Obama versus Romney is the worst reality show on TV since the Tila Tequila days. The characters are terrible, there's no suspense, and the biggest thing is, it lacks both spontaneity and a gross-out factor.

Matt overlooked the Paulistas. They are going to provide a lot of entertainment all the way to November, I'm sure. I'm halfway expecting a surprise coming from them at the convention, and the possibility of more to follow after that one.

I don't think it's boring at all. As Romney cruises to an easy win over the failed President, it's quite entertaining to see the various hysterics from the Oblama campaign. Seamus the dog, the fictitious "war on women," the "bully" nonsense--all most amusing.

True. Clown shows are a hallmark of dying empires.

The actual debates and associated hoopla hasn't been boring but..............

the obots certainly are. They could be the most boring and predictable morons in the history of mankind. They might be amusing if they weren't so shockingly dumb. They use big words and moronic talking points they heard whilst gawking at TV and slurping koolaid and think they sound intelligent.

Epic Fail!

Not hardly.
I think that honor still goes to Bush vs. Kerry.

Wisconsin will keep this election interesting. So will Ohio and the other vital swing states, unless one candidate manages to make a big early win somewhere, or manage to make a big favorability swing.
