Romney has nothing but contempt for working Americans. The real story about this fool and his business acumen is going to get out with ads like these. People are going to realize that what he and his wealthy pals did to GST steel is what Republican economics will to do for our country.

There are different types of millionaires in this country. Some make their fortune by inventing or creating something that does enormous public good. Henry Ford comes to mind. Henry invented a system for mass producing automobiles that made cars cheap enough for virtually anyone to afford. There are examples of millionaires like this all around us. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are two that come to my mind.

Than there are millionaires like Mitt Romney. You'd struggle to identify anything good or positive that he created. His fortune apparently exists because he became an expert at tearing companies and a dwindling infrastructure apart and than feasting on the entrails. This guy amassed $250 million in wealth doing this.

He is not a good man and he didn't become wealthy doing good things. He is not fit to hold the highest office in this land and please, please those who disagree with me say something more than "he is better than Obama".
Everybody employed by Staples is an example of a job he created. Funny you don't hear much about the good work Bain did. They bought out failing enterprises, and obviously most of them were beyond salvation. But Romney brought them back from the brink of failure more often than not anyways. Sometimes it didn't work out, but it certainly would not have gone better if Bain hadn't bought them out.

Can all you guys please educate yourselves on venture capitalism before talking? Much appreciated.

From the Romney Economics website:

Quote:
At first, Romney focused primarily on venture-capital deals, investing in start-ups or companies that were looking to expand. But by the early ’90s, Romney and his partners began looking for bigger payouts with less risk, believing there was more money to be made buying and selling existing businesses than growing new ones.

Using what’s called a “leveraged buyout,” Romney and his investors would take control of a successful business, paying only a fraction of the total price. The rest would be paid for by loading the company up with debt, using the firm they were buying as collateral—so ultimately the company, not Romney, would be responsible for paying back the debt.

That left Romney and his partners free to extract as much profit from the companies as possible.

In the face of mounting debt, the company would then be forced to cut costs—often by reducing wages and benefits, closing factories and stores, and laying off workers. Sometimes, this debt was enough to drive the company into bankruptcy.

Mitt Romney wasn’t trying to build companies for the long term. His plan was to maximize short-term profits, and then resell all or part of the business before the debts came due.

The goal was never to create jobs—the goal was to create wealth for investors, as even his former partner admitted.

All investments involve risk, but under Mitt Romney’s leadership he and his partners carefully structured deals so that even when the companies in question went bankrupt, Romney and his investors maximized their potential gain. Using this model, they made millions, even while driving some businesses into bankruptcy and leaving workers without jobs, health care, and pensions.

Mitt Romney and his partners played by their own set of rules, and practiced a model that was profitable for a handful of corporate investors, but sometimes devastating for local communities.

This is the experience that Mitt Romney now cites as his qualification to be president, and the economic philosophy he would bring to the entire country.

How else are people going to find out how bad of a candidate Mitt is? Mitt isn't going to tell us.

You must be Miss Cleo since you can read what goes on inside of Romney's head - in example he feels contempt for the common working man.

Could you please read my fortune.

Well Obama broke the record of most negative ads against McCain. I imagine he will break his own record with Mitt since Obama can only embellish when he is bragging himself up.

OMG, you people actually believe the spin in the HATE ROMNEY ads?

It's hard to believe how little understanding some folks have of business and how to run it.

I guess that's what happens when you're an entitlement freak and sit around watching Oprah and eat twinkies all day.

And the only good thing about the ads is the money some station got paid for running them. It is brainwash time. Just turn the TV off. If you are told something enough times you will tend to believe it. Let's get outside and enjoy the Summer and Fall and then vote and enjoy 2013 WITHOUT OBAMA IN THE WHITE HOUSE------------PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
