Well, OP, as you've no doubted already figured out, those who claim to support Mr. Romney have no real interest in answering questions about him or his policies.
."
Well 'this thread' isn't about Romney himself or his policies so I don't know what you would expect to find discussed here in that regard.
Stupidest post of this fine Memorial day. The day is young though...........
If you were referring to my post: Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I was just curious, since I am aware Obama doesn't have any creds.
Be advised - I personally think it it immensely stupid of the voting public to elect someone who has never paid any dues. They send you or your kid off to combat and,"Gee - vote for me - I'm a patriot!"
But hey, who ever underestimated the stupidity of the American public?
Memorial Day is not a fine day for some of us, "Sport". Its a reminder of those with whom we served and watch die.The names on the Wall are not just names - they were friends and comrades in arms. Those of us who returned, a bit crippled in my case, were lucky.
Maybe you have some combat creds, I doubt it. Otherwise you might be a tad bit less judgmental. Some of us who have paid dues in combat prefer to see CIC wannabes that actually walk the talk of defending flag and maybe have served their nation in combat. I admit - its getting real hard to find some who has creds.

I tried to get a simple answer regarding his education plan in another thread and all I got was insults and deflection.
Their basic argument for supporting him seems to come down to 'Because I said so."
Why should we spoon feed you Romney's education plan? It's readily available through a simple Google search. Do your own research.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not going to waste my time educating an Obamalemming who has no intention of even considering anything proposed by Mitt Romney.

How very shortsighted you are.
Surely you want the president out of office enough to want to encourage other people to vote for your guy.
If you don't believe in him enough to try to explain why you agree with his platform, surely you can't expect anyone else to jump on the bandwagon.

I don't think lack of military experience is an automatic filter on whether someone has the wisdom to make the best decisions regarding military intervention, nor do I believe it is a qualifier for patriotism.
By that logic given the importance of the economy we should only elect a leader who was at one point an economist or successful in running a large financial organization, I wouldn't agree with that either.

I agree. I see this often on here.
People get VERY offended when you question anything about Romney

While I think you make some fair points the reality is that there are no candidates running that are 'combat veterans' this time.
If service in the military is a requirement for running for office, very few of the Representatives and Senators would pass that test. It has been almost 40 years since the draft ended, and the boomer generation is getting too old to be widely interested in running for political office as they once were.
Expect to see more and more Presidential candidates who have never served in the years to come. The notion that military experience makes for a good politician isn't true anyway- skill at governing is much different than skill at military leadership or skill at running a business. It's just another 20th century idea that will soon fade away to obscurity in a decade or two.
