(CNN) – Mitt Romney received a jump in his favorability rating aided by increased support among female voters, according to a new survey.
The Washington-Post ABC News poll released Wednesday showed 41% of Americans held a positive view of the all-but-certain Republican presidential nominee. Although Romney still trails President Barack Obama's 52%, he experienced a six-point bump from results released just over a month ago.

The improving trend mirrored a similar Gallup poll released earlier in May that indicated 50% of Americans polled held a favorable view of Romney, an 11-point jump since February.
Wednesday's figures were helped by momentum among Republican women, 80% of whom said they hold a favorable view of Romney. He received a 59% rating last month.

I don't generally set much store in polls.

But I was in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago visiting relatives so I did my own poll asking people what they thought of Romney as a Governor.

They were remarkably positive to the extent that he probably has a decent chance in Mass. They were particularly happy with Masshealth.

I think it has more to do with HIDING Ann Romney. Notice that you've barely anything about her in the past month.

Obama is +22 at the moment over Willard is Massachusetts. There is not a chance in hell Willard will win there.

Given Barry's atrocious record and his failed first term, every state and I mean every state is up for grabs.

Could be coincidental but it is a little strange that as soon as Ann Romney stopped putting her foot in her mouth on a daily basis Mitt's numbers go back up. I guess the appeal of an entitled Stepford GOP wife with a taste for $1000 t-shirts is becoming more selective.
