A big win indeed! and a message loud and clear sent to the Unions.

I believe so many thought that Barret has this one in the bag, mostly democrats. Damn inspite of all their efforts, smack talk, all talk, money spent, could not help their guy.

People's voices were heard.

The exit polling was obviously not all that great, since it was too close to call from that data and it wasn't close in any way in reality. The fact that voters voted to support Walker, but would also turn right around and support Obama is not logical. Any logical person can see that wouldn't make sense. However, state politics and national politics can be very different. I live in a state like that. This recall election result speaks to the sentiment in the country overall even more tha just in one state.

CNN had it 53%/46%. Not sure where the spin machine on the right is getting their info. Obviously wrong.

If you live in the USA, you have a dog in this fight. This was just the beginning, it will now sweep across the US and the country will begin to heal...
I worked for the government and I agree with making the union "Adjustments".
They have had it too good for far too long. We can't afford to pay those outrageous wages and retirements any longer, and now it's coming to an end...
Good times are here again. Next step, sweep the corruption from the WH..

Yeah, those right wing spin doctors at DU are really out of control, where could they possibly have gotten their information?

CNN *after the fact* modified their exit polls to change them from the ridiculous 50/50 number that was initially reported (most likely in an effort to depress Walker turnout and gin up Democrat fraud and turnout).

Independents would do just that. I voted for John Kerry and Mark Sanford and Lindsey Graham. You see how that works. The best leaders get the vote.

Early exit polls, there were three sampling thru the day, had it at 52%/48%. Still not the 50%/50% you looney wingnuts are trying to push NOW.
