Kind of reminds one of a cult, actually.
Thanks, I forgot all about the Franken/Coleman recount and how Coleman intentional delayed his concession. Really cuts down that filibuster proof time period.

If he passed Obamacare 15 months AFTER taking office, then there sure in hell wasnt a filibuster taking place, or Obama couldnt have passed all of these dam bills, could he?

Experts? You mean obama-supporting economists.
No. The CBO and many private economists concluded what you don't want to hear, the stimulus worked. As John Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things; and what ever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they can not alter the state of facts, and evidence.”

Kennedy was the 60th vote. The two independents were 59 and 58.
Caucus with the democrats and provided the necessary votes for the stimulus, obamacare, Dodd-Frank. They OWN it.

And you must have forgot that even though Brown won The Swimmer's seat, the democrats in the House took the bill that passed the Senate Dec 25th 2009 (with 60 votes), passed that in the House, then used reconciliation to pass the changes in the Senate by majority vote.

They OWN it....ALL.

The Failed Stimulus was a failure by all measures that obama used. Not to mention it was nothing more than a green energy slush fund for his donors and used to prop up his union buddies.

Remember now, obama already admitted those "shovel-ready" jobs weren't really shovel ready.

Ahem. The Affordable Care Act was passed via reconciliation, which by Senate rules, could not be filibustered. It would be nice if everything could be passed without the GOP obstructionist filibusters but the GOP has been successful at holding up many Obama initiatives and nominees while hammering Obama for not getting things done.

Yeah, only the biggest most unpopular bill of all....obamacare...was passed AFTER The Swimmer passed.

The Senate passes Obamacare when they had 60 votes. It wouldn't pass in the House because of provisions that paid for abortions. (too many Dems were against this). (this also shows that Joe Wilson was right)

After negotiations after negotiations there was an agreement that those against the abortion funding would vote for Obamacare so we could pass it to find out what was in it and then there would be new legislation to remove the abortion funding.

Reconciliation (the act of reconciling the differences in the two bills) is able to pass with 50 votes. The Dems in the House ignoring the record of past Dems promises to get what they want voted for the bill. The vote was made and once again the Dems reneged on their promise.

Another reason why when they argued that they would promise cuts later for taxes now they were laughed at.

See how you're always wrong, the ACA was thru the Senate before the dems lost they 60th vote to "SCOTT 41" in December. But to get thru the conferees report they no longer needed 60 votes. You're three months off.
