Romney will get picked a part by the media and anything he says that has the ability to hurt him, whether it be a gaffe/mistake/whatever, they will take that and run with it. They will not do that with Obama.

Im hoping there will be enough people who will pay enough attention to see through all that. And Im really hoping the drones dont come out and vote like they did in 2008. With out the idiots who usually spend their time with American Idol, Jersey shore, and the Kardashians, Obama would not likely win.
So Romney's problems are all due to "Hollywood" and the "Media"..... oh puh-leeze, that's so lame!

Heck, most of Obama's attacks on Romney have come straight from other GOP candidates!

And Republicans now quoting Clinton for a "recommendation" of Romney... geez, how desperate can you get?!

Sure, when you don't apply the law to you, you can do anything.

obama is going to be beaten so badly the left will totally lose it. You people have no idea what's coming. Let's keep it that way.

Not what I said. I said that if this were truly down to just Romney and Obama, without a biased national media and Hollywood to the level that its at, I dont think Obama would have a chance.
However, with Obama practically having most of what we use to call the "news" media, in his pocket and then 90 percent of Hollywood in the other, its a heck of a lot easier for him. He can make any gaffe he wants, along with Biden who's notorious but the media gives them both passes. The media is pulling for him and will step it up even more once we get closer.

It's nice you're having fun with maps, but in reality, nobody know who will win. To say that Obama or Romney will win at this point is silly.

It is interesting certainly but some of your "safe for Obama" list are not actually safe. Michigan and Wisconsin are definitely in play. Pennsylvania is still strong for Obama but he's lost ground there.

The electoral college map currently looks like this:
RealClearPolitics - 2012 Election Maps - Electoral Map

So currently you have the following electoral college numbers:
221 for Obama
170 for Romney
147 toss ups

There is no question that Romney has to come from behind to win. Thing is, that's exacty what we're seeing. Michigan went from being in the Obama column to being a toss up. (CNN needs to update their map.) Wisconsin went the Obama column to being a toss up. Colorado also fell out of the Obama column and in among the toss ups. Things are moving in the right direction for Mitt Romney, but that can change in the blink of an eye.

Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Arizona and Missouri are traditionally states that the GOP does well in. If Romney can take a solid lead in those states, he's at 266. If he manages to do that, he just has to win ANY of the remaining states to hit 270 and win: Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, New Hampshire.

I do think it's awfully early to speculate about certain victory for either candidate. Both Obama and Romney have a long ways to go to win this year.

Yeah, except for the facts.

A month ago Obama electorial college vote counts were around 350, now they are barely 270.

Obama will only win in five or six states in November.

Democrats are jumping ship.
