Obama got much flack for saying, "The private sector is doing fine." Well, given the MILLIONS donated by corporations to Republican Super Pacs, it does seem that they are doing fine. Just think what all of that money could do to directly help people in this country! And, comparing Union money to Corporate money is a false equivalency.

But, union money comes from workers, corporate money comes from pressure trickled down by investors (Investors = People not working for the money they expect a return on... not saying they don't work, but there is a distinction to be made here.) to overpaid CEO's.

I'm wasn't talking smaller business CEO's here, just the Super PAC CEO's.

I know...and remember the $750 MILLION obama raised in 2008? Just think what good that money could have been put to.....but, that was then and this is now and the Left/dems seems to be complaining an awful lot about money raised by the GOP/Mitt...but maybe we heard the same thing about obama's haul in 2008...no?

Just think how much good the $400 MILLION the unions spent to get obama elected could have done.

NO legs at all to stand on with this issue.

Yes, I believe the corporate world is doing fine. They use their resources to strengthen their position. More tax cuts, more leverage. They don't use them to help anyone but themselves. Corporations have no conscience, and it they can ********* and pin the stink to Obama, they will. And they do.

Super PACS ARE/WILL change the future of politics and elections. Since SpeechNow.org v. Federal Election Commission didn't happen until 2010, you're understanding of the issue you're complaining about is pretty low. 2008 is irrelevant to what you're complaining about.

Your legs are pretty shaky too, no?

Corporations are doing fine. They have more money sitting on the sidelines that ever before. They just arn't using it to support the American Economy. Whenever they have a problem, the taxpayer bails them out. All they need now is to gain total control of the government. They're using their money to make that happen as we sit here on our keyboards.

Not all corporations are doing just fine, ask the businesses that are going out or downsizing like Whirlpool for instance? That is just one because it happens to affect many people in AR, there are others. What about Dillard stores that are closing or Penny's facing almost sure extention in the very near future? How about one of the largest and most successful airlines? They are bankrupt. They can only be saved by re-organization and cutting benefits. The biggest problem with the airlines? How about the greedy unions who refuse to bend with their demands?

Of course some big businesses are doing just fine, especially the ones that are moving much of their business to other countries so they won't have to pay the high taxes here in America. Still all in all, companies are struggling and even the money makers are afraid to expand as they don't know the future.

You do realize that Obama out gained McCain with Wall Street and big corporation money in 2008 and he thinks he can do the same with Romney. He won't though, because as he later admitted, the Private Sector is not doing fine - after all, that is why he was having a Press Conference!

Compared to the $40,000 a plate fund raisers Obama loves to have, who is really out of touch with the middle class, that don't make that in one year?

Obama?
Romney?
Paul?
