But he could make some really dumb remark like Quayle or Palin and then be saddled with that for the rest of his career. He needs more seasoning and time in the political trenches to avoid a big gaffe, I think.

But fat chance. At any rate, indeed he is too young to be even considered for the vice presidency.

I wish people would stop these comparisons with Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was an inspirational leader the likes of whom comes once or twice a century, certainly the only one that I recall in my lifetime in the US, I don't remember anyone comparing Ronald Reagan to, say, Theodore Roosevelt or Abraham Lincoln, mainly because no one during Mr Reagan's time was alive, or hardly, during those previous eras, and that's the way it should be: the next truly inspirational leader should come when I'm dead or at least well into my 80s.

Expect continued mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Good Luck!

I think he is probably a fine Jr. Senator and I have a feeling that is right where he will stay for a while. I don't really think he will be the VP choice.

Interesting how Reagan references Cuba in his speech.
Rubio is too young to be senile but I do agree he's as much of a clueless moron as Reagan. Funny how conservatives supposedly hate affirmative action but wet their pants when anyone with brown skin espouses right wing positions like Rubio, Michael Steele and Allen West

Clueless moron? Sounds like you are describing Al Gore, not Ronald Reagan.

and I would have to agree with you on that, but a huge goof can be made at anytime...As for his running with Romney, I think my point and I may not have made it clear is more: I don't think running now would necessarily hurt him regardless of the election. This doesn't mean I really think he should or will. I do think, if asked he will accept. I have my doubts he will be the final choice.

You still haven't answered the question: what makes you think he is gay, and which attoney General under Reagan was gay or what other Reagan appointees were? I think if you have a base for claiming this, we all should know what it is....
