Page 2 makes reference to the 2009 Tax Amnesty which other posters have mentioned. Those who are unfamiliar with the terms of the Tax Amnesty should really take the time to fully understand what it was - and also understand why clarifying whether somebody utilized it or not is important.....

It seems to me that this summary raises more questions than answers them.
I'm also hearing that the reason they didn't claim the entire deduction on their charitable deductions is because that would have brought his tax rate down to less than 10%. Also something about a "deferment," so they could come back next year (after the election) and claim the full amount.
Anyway, lots of questions and I'm not so sure he did himself any favors with this summary crap.

I wonder why if he had nothing to hide he did not show them in the first place? It just seems that he waited until something that was far more damaging came up to do so. All of this shows me that he has a "I will do what I want when I want and no one can force me to do anything that I don't want to" attitude.
