They weren't happy because Romney didn't talk like he was from the hood and he didn't mention more free stuff

No. I found it odd early on that he avoided the Blacks. He's after the Hispanic vote.
I dunno..maybe he thinks that Blacks will vote for him because he's Black and doesn't need to do anything.

There were some mentions of employing Black youth in summer jobs. It's now summer but I've not heard of any funded program for them.

Knowing good and well many did not even read the article, heck probably did not even look at the OP. Kind of like the idiot who commented on a fight yesterday, saying about how violent black people are, when it was all the people brawling were white.

The only time Obama ever speaks before an audience in "enemy territory"is when he speaks before a patriotic orgainztion like the VFW or American Legion.

The question is why would any president come speak to a group more interested in finding new ways for the government to take care of them then to respect individual liberty FIRST. In the eyes of the government you should never be a group or a race and when you set out to talk to these people you will soon enough destory liberty.

It's a Catch-22. He doesn't show up and people think he feels entitled to the black vote. He does show up and people call him racist for going to talk to a black organization. Either way it's a losing situation for Obama in the eyes of the conservatives.

I think by Biden showing up, he is trying to take race out of the picture and I applaud him for his efforts. Just like I applaud Romney for his. I still find it odd that Romney did, but in the end, Romney has to pander just as much as Obama does. Still people will find something wrong with this post or take something out of context. Oh well.

Romney did not speak before the NAACP to win their support. Instead he intended to establish his objection to the black community among the elitist whites. Romney clearly knows that the black vote is 87% for President Obama and some of what's left is his. If elected Romney will attack the every basic humane benefit there is much of which will be a direct attack on the poor many of whom are black.

Kind of like the conservatives on the board who were glad to see and posted criticism from Harry Belafonte, Cornel West and Tavis Smiley of Obama. When in actuality they said he was not liberal enough.

I wouldn't call the NAACP racist but most definitely are living in the past and have little interest in moving forward. You're not going to get many open minds in that bunch.

I would love to see that - maybe, Obama could have a sit down with LaPierre.
But then, I go for the dramatic.
