Tough crowd well at least he tried.

Most of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee’s speech here to the NAACP was received positively, as Romney talked frankly about the high levels of black unemployment.

But when he criticized President Barack Obama and his health-care overhaul, the crowd veered sharply from genial to hostile, with Romney booed by attendees three times.

I was walking out of the TV room just when he mentioned OCare. I couldn't tell if the boos were for him or for OCare.

NAACP one of the most racist organizations going. They don't speak for all Americans in this country who happen to be black. Obama has done more to divide this nation than to bring it together. It truly is sad.

The NAACP is not racist. It is easy to say that because they are promoting the concerns of black people, but in fairness, blacks are in the minority. IMO any group in the minority deserves to have a body that represents them in political theater, which is why there are no Congressional White Caucuses or NAAWP. Same holds true for Asians, Native Americans, Hispanics, homosexuals, etc.

Dale, the members of the audience were booing Romney because of his statement that he would repeal Obamacare. Probably because he instilled the same system in Mass. and therefore sounds hypocritical. Also, that subject is probably going to generate boos amongst that crowd. Why mention something you know the audience will not support?

Also, please tell me how Obama has divided this country. Because he didn't. The VOTERS of America are the reason this country is divided with their partisan thinking and foul mouthed language.

I just saw the local news in Houston where they said he was warmly received. He did get boos when he mentioned healthcare. He got cheers when he said he supported traditional marriage. The local reporter said he was cheered way more than jeered.
