Hey, Illinois is a blue state and one of the most corrupt, but I can guarantee you if a republican is elected governor it won't change. It doesn't have to do with which party is running the state, but rather the individuals that are.

Considering both are prime examples of their respective parties, I'll choose the one that is not a bankrupt, obese, academically challenged theocracy.
