Ron Paul to Mitt Romney: Release tax returns - POLITICO.com

The longer Romney tries to hide the truth the worse it will make him look. Even Romney's own father said releasing one or two years worth of tax returns isn't enough because a candidate could still hide fraud. A ton of Republicans have publicly said Romney should just release the tax returns and get it over with as dragging it out just reinforces the public's distrust of Romney. That sounds like sound advice especially since Romney's poll numbers keep heading down.

Hardly equivalent. There is a lot of examples of false equivalence in spars between individuals on the P&OC forum.

Actually, the more and more obvious it becomes that Ron Paul is an also-ran, the more desperate he becomes for attention.

Romney can't relate to 99.9% of americans due to his financial status.

Making his tax returns public puts that out there in public, in black and white, for everyone to see.

I don't care WHAT Romney does with his returns. Him providing a basic 1040 is going to show NOTHING. Him providing all attachments & schedules is going to be a violation of confidentiality.

Ron Paul knows this, of course, which is why Romney isn't likely to release his returns. So it gives Also Ran Paul something to continue whining about.

Why should he release them? So the *******s can ask for more and more? How about all the sealed documents on Obama? College transcripts and more? Typical ******* hypocrisy.

Nor can Obama, and nor can Ron Paul - both of whom are multi-millionaires.
