The thread has a topic and asks 2 questions. Responding to the questions should alleviate your confusion.

Will Romney participate in a Rick Warren Saddleback Summit II?

Is there a faith based question you'd like Rick Warren to ask the candidate?

You know what this was about. It was about anti-Mormonism.

I'm not certain I've seen Rick Warren ask any anti-religion questions.

Can you please provide an example?

Obama isn't biting and giving this creep the time of day. Obama said no. The cancellation of this huckster's self promoting sideshow will add a little dignity to a rather sad campaign. Rick Warren isn't credible, and this was the right decision.

a) he has either conceded that he made an idiotic, ignorant statement and feels the best course of action is to try and cover up his idiotic ignorance, or

b) he meant what he said, but he is too gutless to stand by his convictions if it means some bad publicity

Rock on, Rick...
Well at least it is an improvement over these two right after 9/11.

JERRY FALWELL: And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way - all of them who have tried to secularize America - I point the finger in their face and say "you helped this happen."

PAT ROBERTSON: Well, I totally concur, and the problem is we have adopted that agenda at the highest levels of our government. And so we're responsible as a free society for what the top people do. And, the top people, of course, is the court system.
