I heard that on the news this evening. He must have felt he needed to pay up for the comments he made earlier about Obama not being a black president because his mammy was white.

[quote] "President Obama has done a remarkable job in historically difficult circumstances. He ended combat operations in Iraq, put in place sensible reforms of Wall Street, saved the auto industry and protected the health care of every American. He has led our nation to be more tolerant and placed impressive, accomplished women on the Supreme Court. In return, he is the target of hundreds of millions of dollars from right-wing sources," Freeman said. "I am proud to lend my voice — and support — to those who defend him. Priorities USA Action is doing a great job of protecting the values I believe in. I am happy to help them and I hope others will join me."/]

Thank you, Mr. Freeman! You forgot to add the elimination of Osama bin Laden.

A proper and consistent liberal response would be "there goes Big Entertainment trying to buy the election."

Am I the only person that thinks spending has gotten out of hand on these presidential elections?

To me, this is just crazy. No one person should be allowed to "donate" such huge sums. I read somewhere - don't know if it is true or not - that the Koch brothers are willing to give $400,000,000 to the Romney campaign.

What does a candidate have to raise to be elected to a 4 year term in the Oval Office? A BILLION DOLLARS?????

Sheesh!

At least the contributors to Mr. Obama's campaign are being identified. How about Mr. Romney disclosing the foreign governments, foreign corporations, etc., who have been providing funding to his 'deep cover' Anti-American PACs?

I agree with you. Elections nowadays are bought, not won.

Only a fool would sit and watch, and greater fools would actually believe that it is how it should be done. And a true idiot would whine about it at one end, and brag about it on the other.
