Lol! You might be right. But I have never seen so many downright scared people in my life. All people wanted was to go back to work and instead they had a health care bill they didn't want shoved down their throats first by Obama then by the SCOTUS. Obama obviously doesn't have any answers to the problems that people care about the most, and IMO this election won't even be close.

What you're seeing around Mr. Romeny is the crazies of the GOP come to the forefront and they will drown-out whatever message he needs to deliver to gain the necessary support with their Bachmann-like McCarthyism/Racism. At the end of the road true independents aren't going to be voting for Mr. Romney. There's not enough of a distinction between he and Mr. Obama for people to risk allowing Mr. Romney to have OJT for the next 3-4 years. We've just invested that time with Mr. Obama and it'll be better to keep the guy you know than install a wild-card who's embraced so many idiots.

The only reason Obama even got elected was due to embracing so many idiots.

Instead, he lately seems to have adopted U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann's messaging strategy, using a version of the Minnesotan's line from the 2008 campaign when she went on a rant about the views of then-Sen. Barack Obama and his wife being "very anti-American."

Romney is not making it easier for Latinos to support him. In fact, the strategy will continue alienating this critical demographic group, along with independents and women.

Thank you republicans
What are you talking about? What would you expect him to do, tell the world Obama has the right ideas about everything or maybe you think Romney should do exactly what the phony Pres has done, kiss up to every special interest group and tell them exactly what they want to hear, than not follow through wit his promises, or at least not til a few months before the election.

You (and most of the GOP now) are forgetting that there are still things like 'moderates' in the world...

I think it is pretty fair game for him to attack Obama, try to convince minorities they can help themselves, etc. It is also fair to say, a lot of Independents are going to vote Republican this time around. Obama didn't deliver, cut and dry.....

Couple that with an awful track record as President and people, I believe, will be more than willing to hold their nose while they pull the lever for Romney.
I disagree. Romney has made a fatal mistake with his constant flip-flopping. The Republicans don't want him being on both sides of everything, and it shows, from the results of the primaries.

Everyone knows Obama now. The only question about him is if his 2008 base will vote for him again. The Republican's base in 2008 was not large enough to overcome Obama's, so if everyone who voted McCain and Pailin in 2008 votes Republican again, they will lose again if the Democratic base stays solid.

Romney has to be much more than the Not Obama. he has to win over a lot more voters than Obama does, just to catch up to the losses of 2008.

He may pull it off, but I doubt it.

Sure. Both candidates are fair game. It will all be ironed out come election day, as always.
