Afghanistan; It works off of corruption. And narcotics.

In 2005, British forces found nearly 20,000 pounds of opium in the office of the Helmand governor, Sher Mohammed Akhundzada, an ally of President Hamid Karzai. He was forced out at the behest of the British, but was later named to the Senate.
In 2006, as Americans began promoting eradication by specially trained Afghan forces, heroin was found in a car belonging Hajji Zaher Qadir, whom Mr. Karzai had been considering to lead the border police force. That appointment was scrapped, but Mr. Qadir is now one of the leaders in the lower house of Parliament. Many of the northern power brokers are also believed to be involved in the drug trade.

What does Mitt have to say about this?
Afghanistan & Pakistan
The United States must be clear in what we require of both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Afghan President Hamid Karzai should understand that our commitment must be met with reciprocal efforts to crack down on corruption in his government, respect free and fair elections as required by the Afghan constitution, and coordinate with the United States on fighting the narcotics trade that fuels the insurgency.

The United States enjoys significant leverage over both of these nations. We should not be shy about using it.

Mitt thinks bringing our soldiers back home early was a bad idea.

Romney is a war mongering chicken hawk tool of big oil. Not to defend Obama, though, we should get the hell out of Afghanistan and 90% of the rest of the places we are in as well. I did not find much to like about Ron Paul, but he had America's role in the world down pat.

I wish we had a 3rd candidate or the Republicans had someone different. Obama's made some bad mistakes. He's no freaking God, that's for sure. Unless you think murdering someone in another country without a trial (Not Osama, the other guy) and gun running to Mexico make a great President. Still, at least he's not trying to have more people fight in that hell in the Middle East and die.

Miitt doesn't care about your kid fighting in Afghanistan. He wanted them there longer. Egad.

Actually, since Obama had about 48,000 troops in Afghanistan, and Romney wanted 30,000, this would make Obama the warmongerer.. Or cant you do math?

Saying he COULD, doesnt mean he will, and he's saying he CAN do what Obama has done.
