Sorry, but your title suggested this:

Abbott: So Costello, who are you voting for as the Republican presidential nominee this year?

Costello: Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: I mean, Rick Santorum.

A: Oh, he’s in far right field. He will never be it.

C: I meant, Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Newt Gingrich.

A: He won’t even get to first base.

C: I meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Herman Cain.

A: The pizza guy?

C: I meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Rick Perry.

A: He never left home base.

C: I meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Jon Huntsman.

A: He’s in left field.

C: I meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Michele Bachmann.

A: She’s so far in right field no one’s heard of her.

C: I meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

C: Mitt Romney.

A: Ah! First base!

C: But I really meant Ron Paul.

A: Who?

Did you actually read the links (any of them)? Can you move past your hatred? BTW, we lost the presidential election by 3% nationally. That's not exactly some huge loss.

Tell me something - are a majority of 18-29 year old whites, whites in the Northeast, and whites in California all racist? (BTW, all these groups went for Obama in 2008.)

The reason I posted this was that I wanted both sides to actually read the exit polls to actually get a grasp on reality. Republicans constantly accuse Democratic voters of all being moochers on welfare. Democrats constantly accuse Republican voters of being uneducated trailer park trash and some say that the wealthy primarily vote Democrat (interestingly, both sides actually seem to hate the poor and uneducated and think that's the entire other side). Neither are the case and I wanted both sides to see that.

Here is another good link:

Folks interpret data many different ways (duh!), although if you had such an "important" message, then perhaps you should have said so in the OP. And BTW, before trying to "educate" the rest of us, maybe you could first "get a grasp of reality" yourself, and quit trying to re-frame and re-interpret your "not exactly huge loss".

But regardless how you try to spin it, the majority still isn't buying... then or now. Deal with it.

Wouldn't that be "Who voted for whom?"

Couldn't help it; ya don't get to use "whom" very often.

It doesn't matter what those polls say, each side is going to continue to believe what they want to believe because its make people them feel better. Republicans will always carry the torch for being the party to rich, and hostile to anybody who isn't old, white, and male. Democrats will be seen as socialist, welfare dependent moochers, who want to take other's people money and give to takers.

What the analysis of the exit polls confirmed is that America's fastest growing minority population hispanic and asian respectively aren't buying into the Republican propaganda machine and it made a huge difference this election. It's the only two groups that swung harder Democrat than anything else.

It looks like the GOP took a smack down from "other religion" voters, that is in accordance with what I expected.

The exit polls tell us about race, creed, color, education, etc. but one thing they don't address is how well informed the voter is. That's what I'd like to see. Something as simple as can you name your US House member, and who did you vote for for prez.
