For the money. And the Olympics. A lot of his campaign money is coming from other countries.

No. Mitt's wife's horse is competing in the Olympics. Mitt and his wife will be in the stands, watching the equestrian events.

Personally, I don't care a bit if Romney goes or not. While the secret service protection is costing us, all it's really costing is the price of the airplane tickets and lodging, and we pay for that when any candidate travels inside the US.
I'm sure the service's budget went up significantly, but when there is a big field of candidates, and most of them reach the level where their protection is required under law, there is nothing that can be done. I'm sure none of them are protecting the horse, but I think it's very good they are protecting a qualified candidate and his wife.

At least one of OBoy's daughters is about old enough to enlist. Maybe that brave daughter will do something for her country.

Romney wants to do an interview with the NBC in London, why not the BBC with Paxman in the chair, unlike US interviewers UK ones treat politicians as the hired help( which they are ) not as royalty as in the USA.
Paxman putting Romney on the grill about Swiss bank accounts would be fun to watch.

Because candidate Obama did the same thing when he was campaigining to bolster his foreign affairs credntials. It's not astro science here.

I am not sure when Romney gets protection. I always thought it was once he became a nominee, officially. Regardless, whats your point? You dont think that the US doesnt know he will be nominated and its bad that they are being ProActive and protecting him? Defecting from my original post doesnt work here, as "Michelle Antionette 6800 dollar sweater take vacations on every whim she can" can kiss Americas butt.

I wouldn't rule out the UK getting involved in a war against Iran. The two nations were practically at war in all but name when they fought on the border in Basra in the Iraq conflict. The hatred Iran has for Britain probably trumps that of even the United States, mainly for historical reasons.

Iran would love to go to war with Britain on its own if it had a choice but Iranians aren't stupid people and no country wants to invite the kind of misery and bloodshed of an American bombing blitz on its own country no matter how gung-ho its regime may be portrayed or how totalitarian despot in outlook its leadership.

Iran doesn't want war, the UK doesn't want war but if the US and its allies backs Iran into a corner then we are more than likely going to get war. Covert SAS operatives/British agents have been active in Iran for years anyway, probably in coalition with American elite force squadrons and US Government agencies.
