President Obama’s attack on small business owners revealed a petulant and resentful socialist, who values the collective over the individual and sees the productive class as vampires feeding on the weak and the downtrodden. As Michael Walsh said, “It was a ‘Kinsley gaffe’ for Barack Obama when he inadvertently blurted out the truth.”

Now small business owners across America are standing up, speaking out and fighting back.
Here is their response to Barack Obama…

“I Built This” – the video.

The ONLY thing Obama's built is unemployment over 8% for the longest period since the Great Depression, record numbers of Americans on Disability and Food Stamps, and MASSIVE national debt.

It's surprising that those people are smart enough to start a business, but they're too *(&(*&( stupid to take statements in context. It's sort of sad how much stupidity permeates this country.

I bet almost all of those morons in that video haven't taken 2 minutes to lay any blame on the 2000's Republicans for doing nothing to prevent the Great Recession. Welcome to America. Conservatism here is all about bible thumping and an aversion to rational thought.

I bet the poster of the Yutube video built the internet and the PC to be able to post it with.

That's just it--tax dollars built the roads, bridges and infrastructure that made the businesses possible. Taking that quote out of context is just another example of "gotcha" politics that make the process sleazier than ever. The democrats aren't immune from it, but the tea party republicans have been the worst offenders recently. I'm sick of both parties.

To the OP--I wouldn't be proud of threads like this. You might think it's funny, but it makes the republican party look like a bunch of jerks, and that ticks me off. I'm hoping the voters have the sense to kick this crew of R's out of office this fall, and then we can start rebuilding the party to what it once was--common sense conservatives who work for the benefit of mainstreet and communities.

That guy built my eyeballs to watch the video.

Yeah, I know it makes no sense. Neither does the one liner from a speech being used out of context.
Tempest in a teapot.

Yep. Obama and gang NEVER take anything Romney or Republicans say out of context!

The problem is that small business owners DO pay a lot of taxes already, they DO fund the roads and infastructure that we all benefit from. They pay far more of their income to taxes than corporations like GE or GM pay. If Obama wants to truly help this country and create jobs, than he should make policies that benefit businesses other than those that can afford to pay million dollar lobbyists.

And the Republicans in Washington will allow this when?

That's right, never. With this current crop of Republicans, Obama could literally propose to ban abortion and lower taxes 10 percent and Republicans would still vote it down just because it was Obama's idea.

Give it up lol, the left will not get it, they can't and this is the exact reason they are poor and will remain poor even if Obama gets re-elected.

Something to be proud of Obama (see below)

His state of the union address was basically a republican plan--move corporate taxes down to a more competitive level with the rest of the world, close the loopholes, and reward businesses that hire in THIS country. That's about as pro small business as it gets, but god forbid that the tea party let any kind of legislation pass--no matter how much sense it makes--under this administration.
