I am sure you would rather this not be brought to your attention, but here goes anyway: 1-the latest poll you are showing is over a week old: 2-all three of the polls are very, very, very liberal leaning and most of all: let me give you an example of just how much credence any of us should put into polls: a couple nights ago, we got a call from New Mexico, it appears we are still registered there, even though we vote here and have lived here for over 4 years: anyway, the pollster asked my husband who he would vote for if the election was today. He was given 3 choices, he said the third name, of course he has not intentions of voting for that person, but he said it anyway. Now, we know two things, one: polls are anything but accurate and we need a voter ID card. If we have changed our registration, have let NM know more than once and we are still on the roll don't you think something needs to be done...??

Well, our local paper reported within the past week or so that Romney Campaign spokesman said it's not spending any serious money in WI anytime soon. Danced all around why they weren't spending, boiled down to they didn't think it was a priority. I thought it very odd of them to make that statement at this time. Sounds to me, they've written off the state. Their internal polling must be showing something.

thats a good point by a previous poster. look at where the money is being spent, that gives you a good idea of what the electoral map will look like.

Not surprising as WI is not happy with the way things are going with Gov. Walker lately.

What's a good point by a previous poster? Are you saying because Romney is NOT spending money in WI, they believe they have it locked up?

This thread reminds me of the infamous "Scott Walker is going down" thread.

Uh, huh!

Keep dreaming.

Uh....... but, but, but, Walker was always ahead of Barrett by 5-10 pts in the polls. Always.

So, I guess this time, all the polls are wrong and by some perverse reverse logic Obama leads by 6 points, but he's gonna lose? 'Splain how that computes?

Below 50% is good if you take into consideration the public who don't vote for whatever reason (its their right either way) and of course, those who haven't made up their mind.

Using %'s is misleading since the population of the "voting public" fluctuates with each elections. All I know is old people ALWAYS vote and people my age are lazy and apathetic so its really our fault if Romney gets elected.
