Texas GOP chooses tea party-backed Cruz for GOP Senate nomination | Fox News

I'm in shock. This should not have happened.

Dewherst became way too negative. Running all the negative ads cost him a lot of votes.

Obama will do the same.

Cool!

Going to be a lot more winning this fall as well!

People are tired of Socialism now that they are seeing it in action and we are in debt to our eyeballs, the clowns didn't get the message this last election cycle so it will take another big loss before they start to grasp that fact. Ignoring the Constitution and pretending it doesn't matter isn't going over well!

I tired of Dewhurst and his negative adds early on, though it wouldn't have mattered. He did NOT get my vote. I do think there has been a disenchantment with Texas Senators since - if not long before - TARP. I would attribute K Bailey H's vote as an influence in rejecting party line candidates. I've even emailed her to include she need not come back to Texas.

And if she wants to see the Longhorns play football, she can drive over to West Virginia for the day.

People are also tired of the status quo too.
Career politicians are being rejected as well.

I get that, but to say that the defeat of Dewhurst in a GOP primary is a sign that people are tired of socialism is, cuckoo.
