Even the CBO says that Obama's tax plan would cost us jobs and increase the deficit while raising only $86 Billion per year.

$86 Billion (Obama's raising taxes on the wealthy) would keep the US Government running for exactly 8 days.

And Liberals actually think it would help pay down the deficit and/or pay for expanded government hand outs

Just terrible fiscal policy.
So that means we should end subsidies to oil companies and food producers too, right? We should also end the mortgage interest deduction too, since that has an effect on housing, right?

They do, why do you say they don't? Lets see, I recieved the same benefit from Govt service, but I paid alot of federal taxes. Your argument is flawed. I get the same benefit as you do from the Govt., if I have more profit it is becasue of my inidivual initiative and talents....

I think it's instructive to note in this ongoing dialogue that Romney, or D.C. or congress is not GIVING anyone a tax break. What is happening is that D.C. is TAKING earned $$ from individual citizens. Different ideologies have different ideas on how much more or less federal government should TAKE (i.e. confiscate) from productive citizens.

Carry on....
