Couldnt just for chits and giggles President Obama come out and say i renounce my Kenyan citizenship and thereby deflate the wind bag that is the birther movement?

Jambo: you need to research the discussion on his citizenship and if he is eligible. He is very much able to run for Pres, will he and will he get the nomination? Most likely not, but he is eligible. That was clarified about a month ago.
This is what I find troubling.....everyone is embracing Ted Cruz and says he is eligible, which I think he is.
He was born in a foreign country, with a foreign dad and a mom who was an American citizen. Now lets pretend the birthers are right and Obama was born in Kenya. Obama had a mother who also was an American citizen. That is clearly documented. So why is cruz eligible but obama was not? It just makes me believe it was about race, and not birthplace, which is sad.

The real gung-ho birthers are going after Cruz, too.

Some finally listened when it was their guy and have accepted Obama.

Some it is all about party, not the issues.

Hmmm, where are the gung-ho birthers? They were crawling out of the woodwork when it came to Obama.

Cruz is Joe McCarthy reincarnated, with the same mouthful of lies and the same high doggish whine in his voice. The only difference between him and Tailgunner Joe is slightly better grooming and the lack of gin blossoms all over his face.

He is nothing but the dying death rattle of the teabaggers. Don't expect him to be a 2nd term Senator.
LMAO Based on what? Because you say so? You haven't offered any proof whatsoever. Because you can't

Look no farther than those backing John McCain and his goal to turn the Republican party into his old Democrat party. So the march to World Socialism is achieved.

of course those who are die in the wool birthers will continue to go after him, but we all know from 6 years ago or less, no one is going to run for President unless they are positive they are legally eligible. there is also a difference in the two cases: 1-In the case of Obama some doubted where he was born and if his birth certificate was legal, in the case of Cruz we know where he was born.

I just pointed it out. I am not a birther and I think the whole thing is a waste of time, but there is still a difference in the two cases. I also know, beyond any doubt, and we are seeing it all over these boards, they left birthers will come out in full force to try and prove he isn't legally eligible to run. What I find almost funny, he is barely a jr senator and the left is already doing what they can to tear him down. I really seriously doubt he will make any run for the presidency in 21016.
