We know the press and Obama are desperate for an under 8% claim of unemployment.
How will this happen for election day? Simple!

A few days before the election another jobs report comes out. I think it will break the 8% barrier because:

There has been no renewal of all the people that were collecting before the 2 years worth of unemployment (which is not the worst) but statistically those unemployed officially disappear from being included in the official records along with other similar people (which is BS no matter who is in power).

Real unemployment in the country is said to be at 16%, but when you don't count a ton of people you can call it 7.9% or currently 8.3%.

So I say a few days before the election this will happen.

Am I right, am I wrong, what do you think?

It won't matter, people's minds will be made up long before then. Only the stupid and welfare crowd will be voting for four more years of this in November.

If you toss in the people who are underemployed, you can double that figure.

I know, we are in worse shape than we want to acknowledge.

I think you are expecting that the president actually has control over these things. It is congress and Republicans have blocked every jobs bill and not introduced any. Congress as a whole also takes too much vacation.

I think you're correct, and the little (stupid) people will fall for it, hook, line, and sinker.

Unemployment for whites IS under 8% -- it's about 7%. Hispanics will eagerly vote for Obama because even though they have 11% unemployment, it's not about jobs, it's about La Raza Power for them and the fact that they want unlimited immigration, amnesty, dream acts and the whole enchilada --- but not necessarily jobs. Blacks have 14% unemployment but they will vote democrat no matter what.

So the swing vote seems to be in the whites who really have the lowest unemployment rates.

Obama has defied Congress and created a whole new work visa program for foreigners who want to work here, and Obama expanded the NAFTA program, further wiping out many jobs for the American people.

It's why Bill Clinton had to sign the NAFTA deal in the first place - the president does have a lot of power over things like the export of jobs and the import of cheap labor.

It's the Economy Stupid -- or can that only be used when it's a Democrat running against an incumbent Republican?
