1. Are you saying that if the federal government cuts spending, gives less money to the states, this won't impact the states ability to keep its police force, firefighters and teachers???

2. You have serious problems with reading a table:

Alabama's $47.889B, $11,4B for defense, 36.4B for non-defense.
1. As I stated from the beginning, teachers, firefighters, and police are STATE funded by the state tax payers. Sure there is money from the federal government that makes its way to support the state with grants, however you claimed it to be significant.

2. Exactly what is my problem with reading the table. $47B total, $11.4B for defense....$11.4B is approximately 25% of the total, so what I am saying is that 25% of the total for Alabama shouldn't even count for the argument that you are trying to make.

How about less insults on my supposed lack of intelligence, and more backing up of facts.

Paul Ryan on the Issues
It looks like a pretty extreme right wing voting record, thanks.

Funny how he claims to want small government but never met a war he did not like, supported the Patriot Act, and supported flag burning amendment. He also wants to restrict gay rights and abortion rights in draconian ways.

It's not about color. It's about a party that is completely clueless that just doubled down on nominating the worthless.

Paul Ryan, playing both sides of the fence.
Wants to cut medicare and medicaid, just lost the senior and independant vote.
Approved of all the bailouts, conservatives hate this.
Likes to be shown with hunting weapons, the extremist right loves this.

Good pick Romney, looks like you may have blown the election.

Should be interesting to see him talk about it.

Oh, and Romney and Ryan offer nothing new, just the same tired policies the GOP always proposes, tax-cuts for the rich; reduced regulation and gutting social programs.

This will be the first pick where the opponent sees a bump up in the polls.

they why would you even mention whiter than white or whatver? did you think he was going to choose someone based on religion or color? I certainly am glad he didn't...

If Paul is a mistake and I happen to think it is great choice, than our country is in worse shape than i ever imagined. People have got to start realizing we need to get our finances in order. SS and Medicare absolutely have got to be changed or we are heading in the same direction as Spain and Grreece for starters.
