Rep. Paul Ryan says he will only release two years of his tax returns — the same amount Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney
Paul Ryan Says He'll Release 2 Years of Taxes - Yahoo! News

A Romney adviser says Ryan gave the campaign "several" years of tax returns when he was being vetted, but wouldn't specify how many.

What a dumb move.

Of course. If Ryan released more than Romney, Romney would obviously look bad in comparison. This is exactly what Ryan was instructed to do by Romney.

As a member of Congress for 14 years, tho, Ryan did have to submit yearly financial disclosure forms, which Romney did not.

Representative Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin, 1st) - Personal Financial Disclosure

I will add, you do have to register to see them, but the media will get ahold of them soon enough for me..

How are we ever going to find out what a cheapskate he is...I mean at least that buffoon Biden let us know how little he gives to charity every year.

This is the strategy of the liberal media. Keep the focus on extraneous, meaningless things and avoid the real problems facing our country and the leadership that will be needed to fix it. I don't know if Romney/Ryan are the solution, but, tax returns and birth certificates aside .... could we move any further away from real solutions than the last four years have taken us?

jg, it'll take more than the firm foundation of lies that Romney gives.

I have a hunch though that Romney is and was far more THE problem that we, as a nation face, than anyone has admitted to so far.

One thing that we have done is not fall into the austerity trap that will likely collapse several European gov'ts before its all over. At least, we haven't so far. Hoover's ideas didn't work in the 1930s, they won't work today.

He has been in Congress for years now. I don't think his income to tax situation would that big of an interest.

I always laugh when people say "austerity" doesn't work...how in the world does cutting expenses when you are in ridiculous amounts of debt not work? It certainly will be painful in the short term, but it is the only way out of the long term trouble. Sadly people are only interested in instant gratification, regardless of the long term results.

Exactly. We should be talking about how Romney and Ryan will take away health-care and give insurance companies the right to cancel our policies if we get sick.
