SurveyUSA News Poll #19480

Only 30% of the seniors polled have an unfavorable opinion of Paul Ryan.

Overall, 57% of respondents say they are more likely to vote for Romney with Ryan on the ticket and just 30% of respondents feel that Paul Ryan would not be ready to step in as POTUS.

1) He has never called for "destroying Medicare."

2) His plan would only apply to those under the age of 55.

The Obama camp and his SuperPACs won't stand for this. Look for the rhetoric to elevate from divisive to outright assaults across the airwaves and on the political talk shows. The Romney campaign cannot rest on these poll numbers, however. They have to get out there and still push their message and make sure it is clear.

By the way, you missed another key part of this poll - 62% of YOUNG voters are now more likely to vote for Romney. That's Obama key to winning states like Florida!

Poll Read FAIL

EPIC EPIC FAIL

The 64% was for the portion of those in which the Ryan pick changed their minds. Of course what you didn't mention is that only 14% of Seniors said their minds changed at all with the Ryan pick, 83% said no change 3% not sure

So the 64% is of the 14% that said their minds were changed

So basically what you really have is:

9% of Seniors more likely to vote for Romney as a result of Ryan
5% of Seniors less likely to vote for Romney as a result of Ryan
83% of Seniors the Ryan pick will not change their vote
3% of Seniors unsure if their vote will change as a result of Ryan

Not to mention considering seniors are a subset of the poll, and the % of seniors whose minds change because of the Romney pick is an even smaller subset, you get into some extremely high margin of error rates when you are dealing in sample sizes that is about total of 17 yes SEVENTEEN people

EPIC FAIL THREAD FAIL of BEYOND EPIC PROPORTIONS

Unfortunately for the Dems, seniors are one of the few segments of the population that actually pay attention. Their scare tactics will not be as effective as they would like.

I wonder how those same 30% feel about Mr. Foot in Mouth Biden.
