Gosh--then I wonder what they're going to think about moving it to a voucher system AND cutting funds?

It won't effect them. The $500 billion in cuts will.

You crack me up, because you're such a liar and you don't even care--we just had this same conversation earlier today on another thread. The majority of cuts to medicare through the affordable care act aren't to providers--they're to insurance companies serving as middlemen--it cuts waste. The only cuts to providers are when they improve the quality of care, like reducing payments to hospitals if they kick medicare patients out the door too soon, and they have to readmit them for the same problem within a few days. Don't let me stop you though--the truth never seems to stand in the way of some of you making up whatever crap you want to invent as you go.

I'm in the range that will be just under the 55 cut off, but I think you people are going to have a hard sell for this with older seniors as well. I can't imagine too many seniors who aren't going to be concerned that there'll be more rule changes midstream if the tea party gets a chance to start hacking away at medicare. If they get a chance to start in, I'm betting that going to vouchers will be just the beginning of gutting the whole thing. I don't trust those nuts any farther than I can throw them.

It's not a cut to Medicare. It is cost-savings going to closing the doughnut hole and preventive coverage.
